Cintsa was just one of those stops for us. Buccaneers, the backpackers, is situated just outside East London, hidden in the bush and overlooking the river as well as the beach. It is a short walk to the beach from Buccaneers with a great beachbreak to surf and no one around.
We ended up barely even having to leave the backpackers, with light winds and good waves out the front, volleyball in the afternoons as well as various other fun activities. We did also do a lot of swimming in East London in preparation for the lifesaving course which will happen in Durban.
