We are now up on the South Coast, getting closer to Durban and the humidity and heat has finally hit us. This area of the country is called Zululand and we have moved away from the Xhosa territory and into that of the Zulu's. The next few weeks are both busy and exciting with surf coaching and lifesaving courses coming up, as well as lots of surfing in boardshorts finally!
Coffee Bay was a really amazing stop on this trip, and you will have to watch the video blog to see what we got up to and to get a better idea of what the area looks like. We got amazing waves at the beachbreak, just really consistent and lots of fun. Many of the guys also went and spent a night in the local village with one on the local families. Coffee Shack offers great activities each day and everyone went on the walk to Hole-in-the-wall.
