This Summer Ticket to Ride will be opening the doors of our Meribel Mountain Lodge allowing guests to enjoy the amazing cycling, swimming, and walking opportunities available.
Over the past few years Meribel has developed a growing reputation for its incredible mountain biking infrastructure and as a road cycling mecca, and this year’s inclusion in the 2020 Tour de France itinerary is testament to this. In addition to both of these formats the growing trend of gravel biking is well catered for, and is expected to be very popular with guests.
“There is so much on offer in the alps. As a company all of our team have enjoyed spending time there for years, and it’s with great excitement that we’re able to open our doors and share this offering with our guests. It’s great for all forms of cycling, as well as walking, swimming and just generally to have a bit of quiet time to reconnect with yourself and nature” said TTR co-founder Linley Lewis.
The Meribel Mountain Lodge can sleep groups of up to 20 people across 8 ensuite rooms. As well as an in house bar service the lodge has a range of facilities including ample bike storage (and wash down facilities) hot tub, sauna, cinema room and a sun facing balcony with sweeping views down the valley.
Open from Saturday 4th July – Sunday 30th August, prices start at £70pppn for a bed and breakfast service, and guests will have the option to add evening catering for £15 per day. Stays are hosted by the local Ticket to Ride team, with a range of additional services available guests from local service providers (bike hire, cycle guides etc). Catering output can be tailored to individual requests.
