Hello to all of you out there, and a massive welcome to our Indonesia blog. As many of you will know this is our first trip to Indonesia and we are very excited to show you all what it is about. The group have all arrived safely and are settling into the Indo way of life. For us that means up at 5:30, surf the morning offshores until we can't paddle anymore then go and grab a bite to eat, surf some more, grab some amazing food for lunch, then an afternoon siesta followed by an evening surf, supper on the beach with a cold bintang then well earned sleep!
The first day we got some really fun little waves at a hidden away spot a little drive from where we are staying. We are lucky to have a small swell at the beginning or the trip which is great to ease everyone into the surf here and perfect for Sophie who hasn't done as much surfing as the others. The water is almost too warm and the weather just perfect. The sunsets are amazing and all in all life in Bali is tranquil.
We have some great swell coming on Sunday and just enought to keep us going in between, sorry for the short blog but we are about to head in to Kuta to have a little look around and then head to a buffet barbecue for supper!
