Hard as it was to leave the guys in ‘Lembo’ for the next 5 days, my 10 days were up. All that was left on my itinerary was a 45 min power boat ride back to Bali followed by a taxi to Denpasar airport to catch a flight up to Hong Kong before connecting over to London Heathrow. All in all about 35 hours of travelling!
We have been running Ticket to Ride style surf adventures for nearly 8 years now and it is fair to say that we know what it takes for a well planned trip to be remembered as the adventure of the lifetime.
“Indonesia has nearly all the best of these elements in ample supply”
This first Ticket to Ride Indonesia trip goes down as a great success. This Indonesian adventure found truly amazing locations, stayed in awesome accommodation, was run experienced and passionate trip leaders, and had a super cool bunch of Riders (many of whom had already been on other ttride adventures) and as we all knew, the waves were amazing!
We have been on an amazing adventure!! Everything part of Ticket to Ride Indonesia adventure simply seemed to click and tick!
Ticket to Ride Indonesia has landed, we already have bookings in for next May 2014 and will be posting October 2013 dates shortly!
Given the nature of this trip we will be limiting group sizes down to 10 Rider per trip with 2 trip leaders. I am quite sure that I will be joining the next TTRide Indonesia trip as well. Simply unmissable!
What an incredible place to have added to the Ticket to Ride worldwide surfing calendar.
Stoked!
