I’m currently out of the country (UK) until the world famous Boardmasters Festival and Chad is in it. Thus creating a modest demand for our acquaintances from old friends that we have both made after years of running Ticket to Ride trips.
So we are hosting an evening of surf, pizza and beers on Fistral Beach on Thursday 10th August of the Boardmasters week (RSVP here) and for those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Chad yet, here’s a little interview with the young South African Animal:
Morning Routine: A glass of lemon water, stretch, surf report and head to work at Muizenberg and have a sneaky paddle if I don’t have any meetings.
Best person on the planet: Rudy Palmboom Snr, you’ve never heard such funny quotes come out of someone’s mouth as his!
Tell us an unbelievable story: I’m the height of the average South African woman… wait, that’s pretty believable. I have never seen or touched snow in my entire life.
Favourite wave on the planet: Tofu in Mozambique
Name of the first girl (or guy) you kissed: I think her name was Lauren. I don’t really remember the details but I’m pretty sure it was horrific.
Guilty pleasure: When meeting people for the first time lie about my name. Normally introduce myself as Lorenzo and only once they call me by that name I tell them the truth.
The best thing about SA: Warm water, GREAT waves and stunning woman.
How many beers is enough: Is that even a real question? haha When I start thinking to be naked at the bar is acceptable.
You LOVE: Being at home on the Bluff.
You HATE: Litterbugs
The internet is… Turning our brains into little blobs of pink jelly in our skulls.
