Well Plett is our adrenaline stop on the trip. Of course we have the great waves, the wild cats and the beautiful beaches and mountains, but with the world's highest bungy jump just down the road and arguably the most scenic skydive arena there were plenty of nerves during our stay in Plett.

Bungy jumping really is one of the craziest things a person can do. Everything in your body tells you that you shouldn't be jumping off that bridge but somehow you have to overcome that sense and convince yourself that a bungy chord is in fact going to turn suicide into… fun? To be honest it is one of the  most amazing things I have ever done, when I came up from doing it the first time I wanted to do it again straight away, and with very strict safety standards you know that you will survive, but it is still scary. Just the walk across to the bungy is scary enough as you walk across a metal mesh which you can look through to see the ground beneath your feet, that is 216 metres beneath your feet! Everyone did it and there weren't too many tears so in fact a good effort by all!

The other way to get an adrenaline rush is to throw yourself out of a plane from 10 000 feet. I have yet to see or find a more scenic place to skydive and just the flight alone is worth it. Just four of them did the skydive as, despite being one of the cheaper places in the world to do it, it still costs a fair bit. But for those that did it, its was definitely worth it. The 30 seconds of freefall is long enough to actually enjoy the feeling of falling and as you are so high it is definitely not as adrenalin-filled as the bungy but still amazing and a crazy feeling. You are attached to someone else in a tandem skydive so you have nothing to worry about and can just enjoy it. Once the parachute has opened it is still a roller-coaster of a ride down and a lot of fun.

So with plenty of adrenaline and great waves we left Plett in search of the world's best pointbreak at Jeffreys Bay.
