If like us you have been following Red Bull's 21 Days episodes, bringing us a behind the scenes look into the lives of some of the world's best surfers, you will be pleased to know that we have another series online. This time Redbull are documenting the lives of relative ASP tour newbie, Julian Wilson and ASP world tour veteran Taj Burrow, currently on his 16th year on tour.
Taj Burrow is well known for his 'good bloke' approach to competitive surfing, running on natural talent and a few tinnies at the end of a good contest. Recent years have seen Taj step up his competive focus largely in response to talented newcomers such as Julian Wilson.
Julian Wilson burst onto the competive scene with a new school approach to competive surfing, hyped by Nike's brief flirtation with the sport of surfing, Julian now resides with Nike's surfing subsidiary Hurley.
Neither Julian or Taj is expected to take this year's ASP tour crown, however both will be wanting to post a big result in the up and coming Hurley Pro at Trestles Beach later this month.
If I had to pick worthy winner, it has to be all round nice guy TB!
