Hey there,

Well the trip has now ended a week ago and it still feels like just yesterday that we were still up there in Mozambique. With a change of guard in terms of trip leaders as well as a in the group itself the Mozambique leg of the trip really must have been different to the rest of the trip for the group. Despite these changes Mozambique really provided and I had the best trip that I have had up there!

Ponta was really different to Tofo, but really fun. It was a little busy, being easter weekend, but at the same time it eased us back into 'reality' with lots of people around and some fun nights trying different food and drinking a few beers remembering the good times as well as creating new ones. Ponta has one of the best waves in the world, and although we didn't score it really good, we could still see the potential as you can see in the photos.

I will not write too much as there is a long video blog I would love you to watch as well as some photos to go through. From my side though I would like to really thank the group for being so accepting to us new trip leaders and for all the amazing times we had surfing, fishing, chilling and chatting. I am truly fortunate to be able to meet so many amazing people and it was great to see the bonds which they have formed too after this trip together. Ryan Ribbink was a massive help as the other new trip leader and he really knows Mozambique inside out, adding invaluable knowledge to this trip. This was the best trip there yet, and I can't wait until I am next there either on the August trip or the November one.

So long and take care until next time,

Chris
