Hey everyone,
This is just a short note really to let you know that everyone has safely arrived in Cape Town on their South African adventure. The departure wasn't all that smooth with delayed flights, missed flights and all sorts but everyone is there!
They had their first surf lesson this morning and everyone stood up so that is a fantastic start. There were quite a few in the group who were nervous when I met them at the airport as they had not surfed before. I am sure this great first lesson will have given them a good confidence boost.
They are sitting at the Brass Bell in Kalk Bay right now eating lunch overlooking the sea and then its another lesson in the afternoon for them and probably a few drinks tonight.
