\tThe stage is set for one of the most exciting days in ASP surfing history.<\/p>\n

\tIn case you didn't already know. All Mick has to do is reach the semi's and he will be crowned ASP surfing world champion for 2013 taking his tally of surfing titles to 3 (the same as legendary Andy Irons).<\/p>\n

\tMick has it all to do, pitted in the first heat of the day against CJ Hobgood, known for being more than comfortable in the big stuff. He is said to be carrying an injury, however this won't hold him back.<\/p>\n

\t11 times ASP world champion Kelly Slater is a 6 time Pipe Master. For Kelly to win his 12 world title, nothing other than a win at the Billabong Pipe Masters will do with Mick finishing outside the top 3.<\/p>\n

\tIt's all very exciting.<\/p>\n
