As we know from a previous Facebook post, Will Hayler\u200b,\u200b co-found\u200ber\u200b of Ticket to \u200bR\u200bide in 2005, is set for a head shave this afternoon.\u200b Unbeknown to Will, Guy\u200b (Will’s\u200b  younger brother)\u200b set up a Crowdfunder page\u200b<\/a> \u200bto raise \u00a3500 for The Royal Society for Blind Children<\/a> if Will shaved his head on the coming Friday (today). By the time Will even found out about this sneaky plan by Guy, \u00a3370 had already been raised within  a few hours the target was clearly going to be smashed. <\/span>Being the legend that Will is, he happily took on the challenge with a grin on his face!<\/p>\n

Within 24 hours the target had been hit and is now well above that, and the head shave on the other hand is going to happen at 2pm UK time today!<\/p>\n

Some of you may have even challenged Will about ‘the solar panel’ that is developing and had responses such as “I don’t care Kelly Slater is bald and he is happy” or “The less hair I have… the wiser I look” or “Bald people look more digital\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u200b’ve\u200b learnt two valuable lessons from this exercise\u200b:\u200b <\/span><\/p>\n

1) \u00a3\u200b500 was a pretty low target. We not only hit the target, we smashed it out of the park! We are currently sitting \u200bon \u200b\u00a31070\u200b.\u200b <\/span><\/p>\n

2) There are a fair amount of people out there wanting to see Will with no hair\u200b.\u200b Let\u2019s face it\u200b,\u200b \u200bt\u200bhere isn\u2019t much left on his head anyway\u200b.\u200b It\u2019s just speeding up the inevitable. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u200bNow w\u200be have a new a target\u200b!\u200b Let\u2019s see if we can get to \u00a31500 before the timer runs out. \u200bHelp us make a difference for\u200b a\u200b truly\u200b great cause!<\/span><\/p>\n
