{"id":25528,"date":"2019-01-10T11:19:10","date_gmt":"2019-01-10T11:19:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.tickettoridegroup.com\/?p=25528"},"modified":"2025-10-17T18:17:31","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T18:17:31","slug":"number-1-surf-trip-for-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tickettoridegroup.com\/blog\/number-1-surf-trip-for-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Number 1 Surf Trip for 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So we&#8217;ve just had an important afternoon coffee and cake discussion of which Ticket to Ride Trip has got us most excited this year.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst the Sri Lanka tours are sizzling and\u00a0South Africa&#8217;s\u00a0smoking, Indo&#8217;s on fire and the\u00a0Philippines is flaming hot, Mozam&#8217;s making heat waves\u00a0and\u00a0the warm welcomes in\u00a0Spain are hard to beat,\u00a0it&#8217;s the\u00a0Banyak Islands Boat Trip\u00a0which has us most fired up.<\/p>\n<p>The main reason being is the remoteness of the\u00a099 islands is off the western coast of Sumatra, Indonesia of which only\u00a07\u00a0are inhabited.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Meaning the amount of surf spots really is a mystery and many spots remain nameless.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The waves march to the islands immaculately groomed with relentless frequency accompanied by\u00a0light or non existent wind, which shapes the waves into something one can\u00a0only dream of.<\/p>\n<p>The boat will\u00a0take\u00a0us straight to the line up and it will be there when we&#8217;re done.
