Undisclosed Point Break, Arugam Bay Region, Sri Lanka<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/tickettoridegroup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/My-Movie-1.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This spot is un-identifiable from the video as all the sand bottom reefs look the same in this part of Sri Lanka, so hopefully I won&#8217;t get told off for posting it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It might not actually look like the most perfect wave ever but there&#8217;s something special about zipping down the line of a tropical right hander with hardly anyone else around, surfing til you can barely lift your arms or do the walk around any more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you go looking for it, take a 4&#215;4, lots of water, sunscreen and snacks. Its a long reef to a sand-bottom point with right-handers that peel forever. Undisclosed, Indonesia <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/tickettoridegroup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GH018553.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ah man come on, Indonesia has the best waves in the World, I actually feel ashamed it&#8217;s come 4th in the list here <strong>but<\/strong> I&#8217;m writing this blog with the reader in mind, therefore scary shallow tubes (which Indonesia is known for) aren&#8217;t actually that appealing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you know where to look (or join our <a href=\"https:\/\/tickettoridegroup.com\/surf-courses\/Indonesia\/surf\/2-Week-Island-Hopping-in-Indonesia-?self-catered=true\">2 week Island Hopping Tour<\/a>) you will find some more user friendly barrels that would appeal to anyone who can stand up on a board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2>5. Secrets, Ahangama Town Centre, Sri Lanka<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/tickettoridegroup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Good1.m4v\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We like to call this wave secrets as it&#8217;s right in the centre of Ahangama Town, less than 500m from the <a href=\"https:\/\/tickettoridegroup.com\/surf-house-sri-lanka\/\">Ticket to Ride Surf House<\/a> <strong>but<\/strong> has remained relatively quiet compared to the surrounding waves either side. Weird. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a long, forgiving right hander that has a deep channel to take you back out after every wave. Or you can just ride a wave into Ahangama beach and grab a beer at Crust afterwards and enjoy an epic sunset (where this clip was filmed from and several Lions were enjoyed afterwards).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s just 5 of many right handers surfed on Ticket to Ride Surfing Adventures across the World.
