Excitment is filling the air in Ticket to Ride HQ as the Billabong Pipeline Masters isnt far off now. Not only is it the final stop of the Vans Triple Crown but its the final stop of the ASP Men's World Tour.<\/p>\n

The North Shore is the perfect location to finish the culmination of both series with The Banzi Pipeline hopefully set to fire for the ASP. An iconic and historic wave, Pipe is often referred to as the best wave on the planet. Producing heavy top-to-bottom barrels over shallow volacanic rock its not for the faint hearted however those willing to charge get the barrel of their life and spectators can witness it all unfold right on the beach.<\/p>\n

Pipeline has produced some memerobale battles in the past and this year is set to be no different as Chris Bond mentioned in the previous ASP blog with Kelly, Parko and Fanning all battling it out to take the ASP 2012 crown.<\/p>\n

\n\tIf Parkinson finishes 13th, 9th or 5th at the Billabong Pipe Masters:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • \n\t\tSlater needs a 5th or higher to take the 2012 ASP World Title.<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\tFanning needs to win at Pipeline to take the 2012 ASP World Title. (*Contingent upon Slater finishing 5th or Lower at Pipeline.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n\tIf Parkinson finishes Equal 3rd at the Billabong Pipe Masters:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • \n\t\tSlater needs a 3rd or higher to take the 2012 ASP World Title.<\/li>\n
    • \n\t\tFanning needs to win at Pipeline to take the 2012 ASP World Title. (*Contingent upon Slater finishing 5th or Lower at Pipeline.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \tWeather its Kelly, Parko or Fanning (unlikely) that takes the 2012 crown its set to be an epic finish to a great year on the ASP Tour. Luckily theres a big time diffence between the UK and Hawaii as im not sure what the work rate would be like if it were on in the background…<\/p>\n
