Overview

A week of girl's ski training with top coaching and great company!

Combine a week of ski coaching with daily yoga, throw in some healthy home cooked meals, plenty of wine and a bunch of like minded ladies and you've got yourself one hell of a week! Explore the 3 Valleys by day and relax in the chalet by night. We are looking for intermediate skiers who are up for a new challenge and want to improve all aspects of their skiing in a friendly, confidence-boosting atmosphere. Master moguls, progress in powder, learn to carve and try out some jumps in the park!

The Coach - Emily Sarsfield

We were so lucky to have Emily on board for this exclusive week in April 2018! As well as being a BASI Level 4 instructor and Meribel local, Emily is a Ski Cross athlete who has represented on the World Cup circuit since 2006. She is 7x British Ski Cross Champion, has reached No. 20 in the world and trains all year round. 

She can offer a massive variety of training, as ski cross combines speed, technique and elements of freestyle. She teaches members of the public through her own ski school in Meribel when she isn't training or competing, so she can help any level of skier and provide great advice to anyone wanting to improve their skiing or confidence on the mountain.

The Chalet

You will be spending the week in one of our cosy chalets in Meribel. All our chalets are well-located, close to the pistes and bars/ restaurants. You will be hosted by our wonderful Ticket To Ride Chalet Staff who are all experienced cooks and great skiers themselves.

 

What to Expect

  • 20 hours of varied Ski Tuition and guiding including freestyle, ski touring, piste performance, skier cross*. 
  • Centrally located chalet accommodation
  • Regular Yoga Sessions
  • Daily Cooked Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and 3 Course Dinner with Wine
  • Three Valleys Lift Pass
  • Return Transfer from Geneva

TimeLine

Here you'll find a day by day breakdown of your course.

  • Arrival 1 Day

    Arrival at Geneva Airport by 3pm for private transfer to your chalet

  • Day 1 & 2 2 Days

    4 hour Ski Session with Emily - covering a variety of skills and techniques on all terrain

  • Day 3 1 Day

    4 hour lesson followed by dinner in a local Savoyard restaurant 

  • Day 4 1 Day

    Rest Day to explore the amazing 3 Valleys at your leisure, or relax with a swim and spa day in the Olympic Centre in Meribel

  • Day 5 1 Day

    4 hour Ski Session with Emily Sarsfield. Tailor the session to what you would like to focus on, or what the conditions are best for. 

  • Day 6 1 Day

    Final day of skiing with Emily followed by apres beers at the Ronnie!

  • Departures 1 Day

    Transfer back to Geneva for flights leaving after 10am (earliest transfer possible is at 5am).

Confident on red runs for a start. Maybe you have been skiing a while and are stuck in a rut, or have been a few times, quickly got the bug and would like to improve more! If you are unsure as to the level of the group or whether it is for you, give us a call in the office on 0208 7899 055 and we would be happy to help. 

A lovely cosy chalet in an amazing location in Meribel, close to pistes and town amenities. You will be hosted by our wonderful Ticket To Ride Chalet Staff, who are experienced cooks and great skiers themselves. 

The rooms are twin share but you can upgrade to a single room at additional cost

Wholesome, healthy and nutritious. We are aiming to start the revolution against stodgy and overly-filling, full-of-cream-and-butter chalet food. Instead we love fresh healthy food, influenced by flavours from around the globe, with still a good dose of chocolate desserts and cake in the afternoon! We have developed a menu that aims to sustain throughout a day of skiing but not make you feel like you have put on weight over your holiday! Let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will cater for them. 

There will be a maximum of 8 on this course.
