Food and Drink

What you eat is important! You'll be riding hard for 6 days, and it's important that your body stays fuelled.  We'll be serving up hot cooked breakfasts each morning, as well as a selection of cereals, fruit and pastries if preferred, spreading up afternoon tea for your return, and then presenting a 4-course meal of energy filled healthy dinners. Wine will be served with the evening meals. Your chalet hosts have one day off in a week, which gives you an opportunity to enjoy the local restaurants in Meribel. Don’t worry they’ll still be on hand to advise on the best places to wine and dine!  Dietary requirements are not a problem, we only ask for this information to be highlighted during the booking stage.

We are very lucky to have the amazing Nikita Snowboarding sponsoring this camp and providing our goodie bags. They have been at the forefront of women's snowboard technical outerwear and awesome streetwear for years and are well worth checking out at https://eu.nikitaclothing.com/

Got a question about this course? Here's the best place to start. If you don't find your answer here, you can request a callback or get in touch using our contact page.

This course is best suited to intermediate-advanced riders

You can do basic heelside and toeside turns consistently and confidently, with elements of carve turns on all greens, blues, reds, and some blacks. Tough conditions and variable terrain slow you down and affect your technique. You have done some easy, open off-piste.

You have mastered the mountain. you can snowboard precisely and confidently on all pistes in a variety of conditions. you have good off-piste experience, including some steeper terrain and tree runs.

We will be covering many different areas of snowboarding, so there may be elements you're more confident with. We will have Corinne and Katie so, if required, we will also be able to divide the group up depending on abilities/ preferences and individual goals.

Yes! Run by girls for girls to practice snowboarding in a comfortable environment with no need to impress. I have grown up snowboarding with only guys, and I just find they have a different mentality to girls and don't get it when I can't do things they can! On this trip, whatever you can or can't do is fine!

Our day by day schedule is only a rough guide and we can juggle around the days according to weather/ conditions. The past few seasons though, April conditions have been great in Meribel with some awesome last minute dumps!

The Ladies Snowboard course is rather unique, with your coaches Cozza and Katie living in the chalet with you. Due to this, room upgrades are not available, but we can ensure your experience will be a lot more fun living with these two ladies.

There will be evening meals for us in the Chalet, and after that it's up to you. There is a great nightlife in Meribel if that is your scene, or stay in and watch a film instead!

There will be 8 ladies maximum with the option to split into smaller groups if needs be.

An All-Mountain snowboard would be the best board to bring. Or just a snowboard you feel comfortable riding. If we do splitboarding (which is optional) then you will need to pre-order split-board set ups from Tignes Spirit which we can arrange prior to your trip.

If you have any AVI gear please bring it along as you will be familiar with using your own stuff (transceivers, probes, shovels and bags). But don't worry, you can hire AVI equipment and/or Splitboards if the conditions allow for their need.

For the latest travel advice from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office including security and local laws, plus passport and visa information, check www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice.

As part of this course, we will be including a transfer departing from Geneva Airport at 15:00 on the start date. Therefore, ensure that your arrival time is no later than 14:30 in order to make the transfer to Meribel. On the return, we will include a transfer to Geneva Airport departing from the chalet at 10:00 on the final day of your camp. The average transfer time is 3 hours and check in 2 hours, therefore you should book your departure flight from 15:00.

If your arrival or departure flights fall outside our free transfer times, then get in touch and we may be able to organise a private transfer for you on request at an additional cost, subject to availability. If you do need a private transfer please be aware that transfers are usually only available from 6am to 9pm so try and arrange your flights around these times. Alternatively you can hire a car from Geneva.

Again, if you are planning on coming out earlier or staying on afterwards, please note that you will have to arrange your airport transfers at your own expense.
